Mobility and Migration in Europe
To celebrate and promote the European Year of Intercultural Dialogue, Careers Europe hosted an event focussing on Mobility and Migration in Europe in Leeds on the 1st October 2008.
The event was held in The Queens Hotel in Leeds and was a great success, thanks to the input from our guest speaker Mr. Richard Corbett MEP, EURES, Europass and the Gangmasters Licensing Authority, as well as all delegates who attended.

Love Language Event 2nd July 2008
Big success!
Careers Europe hosted a dissemination event for the Love Language project in Bradford West Yorkshire. Love Language is an EU Grundtvig co-funded project set up to tackle declining levels of uptake in foreign language learning, particularly addressing a shortfall in young adult male learners. The project aims to increase participation in language learning and enable young men to rediscover a “love for language” by using more “male” orientated lesson tools and teaching language professionals the motivational skills needed to keep them interested.
