Annual Celebration Of Yorkshire and Humberside Business Language Champions Project University of Hull, Friday June 22nd 2007

Careers Europe are twinned with Parkside School Bradford as a Business Language Champion. The Business Language Champion scheme is promoted by the Regional Languages Network as a means of encouraging young people to take and retain language learning as a key job skill.

Following the launch in November 2006 by Sir Digby Jones, Yorkshire & The Humber has become the number one region in the country for this project with 34 Business Language Champions, 26 committed education partners and 20 education business language partnerships initiated!

At the celebration event Careers Europe and Parkside School were awarded their certificates by the Rt. Hon. Alan Johnson, MP for Hull West & Hessle and Secretary of State for Education and Skills.
